![]() ![]() Onto this USB I created a "Drivers" folder and put a few drivers: I losely followed the Clean Install Guide and used the MediaCreationTool to create a image onto a USB. Mind though that I never shut down my computer unless I absolutely have to, always on. There are probably new ones now but I dare not (yet) change the setup as it is (fairly) stable now (a BSOD every 3-4 weeks). I downloaded the latest drivers as of end of November 2016. I think I exhausted everything I could think of but never found a solution. I'm reaching out to the community to find others with this problem in hopes to find a solution. Where can I find the firmware for this drive? The first suggestion of a fix for this problem is to update the firmware of the drive (according to UsefulPCGuide) but searching Toshiba for this drive returns nil. My version of the XPS 9550 have a NVMe THNSN5512GPU7 NV SSD. My version (as of writing) is f6flpy-圆4-15.īesides, I really don't want to reinstall my computer in the first place, without knowing that it will definately resolve this issue. But, unfortunately it seems that the XPS 9550 requires these drivers to be able to install in the first place (according to CleanInstallGuide). Many investigations seems to point to the Intel RST RAID driver (iaStorA.sys) to be the culprit and suggests to reinstall with AHCI instead (eg. I've been reading a lot of posts about this in various forums but haven't really come across any definite solution. To note, I keep my drivers up-to-date according to "Dell Command Update", and manually search for other ways to update my drivers as well. Has anyone figured out how to solve this? Unfortunately none of these were able to produce any error info (stuck at 0%). That's on average every 4,5 days with a lot of work lost as a result.
